APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AND COMPANY SECRETARY

Adelaide, Australia: Bionomics Limited (ASX: BNO) announced today the appointment of Mr Trevor Thiele to the position of Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary.

Mr Thiele's 25 year career covers CFO, commercial, financial management and treasury roles with listed and private companies involved in various industry sectors. Much of his career was spent in the agricultural sector, in particular in rural services businesses. In these roles Mr Thiele also gained experience, both domestic and international, in mergers, acquisitions and capital raisings.
Mr Thiele holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of South Australia and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Mr Thiele replaces Mr Stephen Birrell who joined Bionomics in October 2005 and who has made a significant contribution to the management of Bionomics during this period.
