BNOOB OPTIONS EXERCISE

Adelaide, Australia: Bionomics Limited (ASX:BNO), today announced that following the appointment of Phillip Capital Pty Ltd to manage the underwriting of the exercise of its BNOOB listed options the final Underwritten Amount is $4,004,000.

The issue of 18,200,000 shares to raise $4,004,000 was supported by key institutional shareholders of Bionomics and included an investment by a specialist life science investment fund.

The funds raised will support the initial Phase II clinical trial of BNC105, following the completion of its current Phase I trial and assist the Company in securing an additional major partnership.

Bionomics' Chairman Dr Peter Jonson in commenting on the capital raise said "In difficult market circumstances we are pleased by the support shown by our loyal shareholders. It is particularly pleasing to see strong institutional support for the issue. We are excited by the prospects for our anti-cancer agent BNC105 and this funding will support its continued development".
